Who hasn’t looked at the clouds and wondered what they looked like up close? Who hasn’t watched birds soaring through the air, seemingly held aloft by some magical force, and not longed to know what that might be like? And, who hasn’t wanted to be transported from one place to another without the hassle of the stop and go, so common to daily life—almost as if being in a time machine?

All of this can be yours when you become a pilot. You be in charge of where you go, when you leave and what you see!  We can help with all of your training needs, whether you want to become a Sport Pilot, Private Pilot, or Commercial pilot, plus any ratings you would like to add including the very useful Instrument Rating.

Federal regulations have recently changed making it much easier for non-pilots to obtain a specific type of pilot’s license – the Sport Pilot license.  With your Sport Pilot certificate, you can fly airplanes in the Light Sport category (LSA) with some restrictions.  Because of these restrictions, you can become a safe and confident pilot without a big commitment of time or money.  An added benefit is that LSAs are very economical to fly.  In fact, most are as economical as any subcompact car you’ll find on the road today.

Getting your Private Pilot license requires a bit more time and investment, but you also have fewer restrictions than the Sport Pilot.  The good news is that you don't have to decide right away -- training you do toward your Sport Pilot can easily be transferred towards your Private Pilot certificate.
